D-Tec Pest Solutions is committed to ensuring the safety of people, pets, buildings, and the environment.
Our Company complies with all Work Health & Safety and Welfare Acts, applicable Codes of Practice and Standards that apply to pest management.
We also apply pesticides in accordance with the product label directions and industry and government approvals.
All D-Tec Pest Solutions Technicians are fully licenced to use pesticides and follow the pest management procedures when carrying out any treatment or service.
On greeting our customers, your D-Tec Pest Technician will go through a safety checklist and risk assessment. Please advise when booking and to your Pest Technician if there is anyone who is pregnant, have an illness or respiratory problems, allergies, if there are babies, crawling children, or animals prior to treatment. Also advise any other concerns before the service is started.
Your technician will explain the order of service and direct you during the service to keep you safe. It is important to adhere to his direction after the service in terms of re-entry, ventilation, and other safety requirements.
After the treatment, they will report to you any findings, environmental considerations, hygiene issues that may require action to help the effectiveness of treatment and to enable warranties.
D-Tec Pest Solutions has carried out the Infection Control Training - COVID 19, Coronavirus.
Our Company has taken extensive measures to minimise the risk of COVID-19 transmission & following all the advice/recommendations from the Queensland Department of Health. You might notice that we have washed our hands & sprayed our shoes with antibacterial soap/spray. We also will wear gloves & wear a mask for extra precautions.

It is a condition that we do not spray pesticides externally to uncovered areas if it is raining (except in the case of a Flea Treatment) We also take due care and attention to any high winds to avoid spray drift. Our Technician will advise you on the day if he thinks the conditions are unacceptable for your treatment.

Your pest control technician should be providing you with all the relevant information of what type of chemicals are being used, the mixture rate, how the product has been applied and more, in conjunction with the appropriate safety data sheets.
